Here's the straight scoop....   Zipper puts a lot of thought into balancing the number of shows it does each month... just a couple times a month.  Keeps the band and the fans fresh and happy.  Keeps our families happy too.    :-)

And as a bar owner/manager, you know the bad side of overbooked bands.  You book a band to play your normally busy Friday night, and as you look at a light crowd you find out your place is their 3rd stop that week in the 2 mile area around your bar!

Now we make no guarantees... but we want everyone to be happy.  Band, fans... and even the bar owners.  Crazy thought, huh?  :-)

Why do I tell you this?    Because when you only do a few shows a month, the schedule fills up quickly!!!  Always contact no matter how close the date is, but we all win when the shows are booked a couple months in advance.

Just this summer in 2011, we were able to fill-in with days notice for the Philadelphia Soul Season Ticket Holder Party, but around the same time had FOUR bars contact us for September gigs that we couldn't do.  

So think ahead... but always contact us.
